The Tony Johnson Cup
The Tony Johnson Cup goes to the winner of the annual dual race between
Georgetown and Yale. Coach Johnson has specials ties to both universities.
After coaching at Georgetown from 1969-71, Johnson coached the Yale crew
for 20 years. He returned to Georgetown in 1990. The Cup was donated to
by the Georgetown class of 2003 heavyweight men’s crew.
