Georgetown Crew Wins Jesuit Invitational Points Trophy

CAMDEN, N.J. - Georgetown crew won the overall points trophy at the Jesuit Invitational on March 20 in Camden, N.J.

Racing in a 15 mph cross headwind and 25mph gusts, the Hoyas posted several first place finishes, including a first place finish in both the varsity and freshman lightweight eights.

The varsity lightweights timed 5:59.80 to beat #11 Boston College (6:02.97) and #15 Saint Joseph's (6:11.29). Complete results are available online at row2k.com.

The lightweight men and women are both ranked fifth in the nation in the preseason polls.
