US Rowing Collegiate Poll

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - Defending IRA champions Harvard University claimed the top spot in the USRowing Collegiate Men's Varsity Eight Preseason Poll, while Radcliffe topped the Women's Lightweight Eight Preseason Poll. Harvard and Princeton University shared the top spot in the Men's Lightweight Eight Preseason Poll.
In the men's varsity eight poll, Harvard received 11 first-place votes to earn the top spot. The University of Washington took the remaining two first-place votes to rank second. Princeton University and the University of California at Berkeley tied for third place, while Brown University and the University of Wisconsin tied for fifth.
Radcliffe earned three first-place votes to take the top spot in the women's lightweight eight poll. They were followed by Princeton, which took the other two first-place votes, Stanford University, Wisconsin, and Georgetown University. In the men's lightweight eight poll, Harvard tied with Princeton for first place. The Crimson garnered two first-place votes. Yale University claimed the No. 3 position in the preseason poll, also earning two first-place votes. Navy and Georgetown rounded out the top five.
